Polo Fried Chicken (Kai Tod Jae Kee)
Polo Fried Chicken (Kai Tod Jae Kee)
✓ Our editors confirmed it is open (2026-10-18)
Founded over 60 years ago on Soi Polo by Jae Kee, who came from southern Thailand, this fried chicken shop is known for chicken topped with a generous heap of fried garlic. There are two locations on the same lane—one air-conditioned and one regular. The classic order pairs the chicken with som tam, sticky rice, and grilled pork neck. It’s a good stop after a stroll through Lumphini Park, though some visitors find it ordinary if they arrive with high expectations.
Editor's picks
- Menu and flavors: The menu also includes larb and grilled pork neck. Try the som tam with salted egg, too.
- Setting: Seating is available indoors and along the lane outside.
- Note: The basic indoor dining area is not air-conditioned.
